On the northwest corner of old SR 26 bridge
West Lafayette, Indiana

Managed by the West Lafayette Parks & Recreation Department, the park offers hand carry access (about a 100 yard carry) to a sand beach.

The park also offers water, a paved parking lot, picnic area, sand volleyball court, access to the Wabash Heritage Trail, and a playground. A skating center with restrooms is located in the park. A short walk to the Levee area offers a wide variety of places for food, supplies, fuel, phone and entertainment.

From the river, the access site is on the right bank just after a viewing platform atop an old bridge column.

Important: The river is constantly changing. Hazards like log jams and tree falls will come and go often, so always be ready for them. Even islands and riverbends come and go over time. Riffles and sandbars will appear and disappear based on water flow levels. Do not attempt boating on this or any river during high water. Please be safe, respectful and responsible on the river.
